Eleven Edge Early Learning centres will cease operations after administrators received no offers for the sites. Seven of the affected centres are in Queensland. The closures follow the provider's financial collapse, which has left families urgently searching for alternative care arrangements.

Administrators successfully sold some centres in a fire sale, but the remaining 11 drew no offers. Parents have been given minimal notice to secure new placements for their children as the shutdown goes forward.
